Water Conservation Policy
We set targets to protect water, our planet’s most precious resource, to leave a liveable world to future generations and to reduce our water footprint.
Our Practices
- To meet both our responsibilities towards nature and our legal obligations, we follow national and international standards, laws and regulations; we voluntarily carry out work to reduce water consumption and continuously improve our water performance, and we monitor the results.
- We set targets and include water saving and efficient water use in our training programmes to involve our staff as well.
- We value working with all our stakeholders to create shared goals and outcomes in water management. We keep engaging with our guests, staff, visitors and business partners so that, together, we reach a collective level of awareness on these matters.
- We seek out, purchase and use water-saving products, equipment and technology alternatives.
- We aim to document our Water Management System, roll it out across all departments, update and review it when needed, and improve it continuously.
- We assess water scarcity and other water-related emergencies, and plan measures such as the use of alternative water sources and recovery systems.
